Chris Brown appeared at Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday (March 5) but did not enter a plea on two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats, stemming from his alleged altercation with girlfriend Rihanna on February 8. Rather, at the request of attorney Mark Geragos, Brown was granted a continuance in the case, meaning his arraignment has been pushed back until April 6.Outside the courtroom, Etra told E! News that Rihanna did not need a no-contact order and that the 21-year-old singer "is doing well, and she is making sure her rights are protected at every stage of the proceedings. ... What will happen to Chris Brown is up to the district attorney in court."
If Brown is convicted on the felony charges, his sentence could range from probation to up to four years in prison, CNN quoted the DA's office as saying.
Neither Brown nor Geragos made any statements to the media while at the courthouse. Brown arrived in a black SUV just before 3:30 p.m. PT, flanked by a pair of security guards and his attorney. As they made their way into the building, they were surrounded by throngs of photographers and camera crews, while sign-carrying protesters milled about on the sidewalk.

I am just so sick of this whole thing because all of hollywood and the public want to speak about this situation if this mess didnt happen at all we wouldnt cared to say anything about domestic violence it just so happen that two young people who are celebrities got into this situation that is bad and everyone want to say something about it i know that its not right for a man to hit women and it pisses me off that a women think that they can hit men without any consequences because they know that they arent suppose to hit them back no one should put their hands on no one period and say for instance that this situation was turned around and chris called the police on rihanna for beating him up what would the public say i think they would call him a punk for letting a girl beat the mess out of him please get real i am a chris brown and rihanna fan and i believe that chris should get punish for what he did and if those to want to get back together then thats their business they have to live with the choices they made not us domestic violence has been going on for a long time and the chris/rihanna situation shouldnt be poster child for domestic violence people need to focus on the situation at hand without celebrities attached to it because im pretty sure if this was some couple down the street we could care less about their situation and it kills me that when something horrible happens to a celebrity they want to start up a conversation on that issue people dont need to to wait to see a celebrity mess up of something horrible happens to talk about something those conversations should have already been discussed in our community because it is happening in our communites not just to celebrities so let chris and rihanna handle this mess in court and worry about yall lives and the people in our community getting shot up, killed, kidnapped and etc.

Chris WOMAN BEATER Brown is such a coward, he want's to push this case back as far as he cans. Oh well, at least he has OFFICIALLY been CHARGED and he WILL have to plead GUILTY, and pay the consequences...
ReplyDeleteI really love Chris to my heart, not like a little hottie, but a little brother. After I read the criminal report that Rihanna made, for some reason, it looks like Rihanna exgarrated some of that. I don't know, this just does not fit Chris at all. Yes, he grew up in an abusive atmosphere, but to do all what was stated in the report, I'm still not feeling it. Yes, he is wrong in what he did, hitting a female period is a negative, but she even admitted to proking this incident. Maybe, I just feel so bad for him, he is a kid, he's 19 yrs old, A baby still, and because of a text message, he's career is shot. oaky!, Why is Rihanna taking him back? Why is she not in court? What is she hiding that henders her from appearing in court?
