I wasn't as jazzed on Q-Tip's most recent album The Renaissance as a lot of you guys, but that never stopped me from appreciating dude's ability to continuously make songs that people actually want to listen to. This J. Period mixtape features some classics and some tributes from newer artists like Kid Cudi and Skillz. So when is a Tribe Called Quest getting together?

I had no idea this was out. It is genious. I downloaded it and heard the tracks briefly and I cannot wait to let it play on my hour drive to work in the morning. Thank you so much for that. I hope you start putting up links for more legal downloads soon.

ReplyDeleteI agree this mixtape is pretty amazing. I loved the song with stevie wonder and de la soul/a tribe called quest jams. It's like the 90's all over again. Oh how I miss them.
