SNL Skit: Jason Sudeikis Eats Zac Efron’s Foot!!!

Zac Efron gets his left foot eaten by his on-screen brother, SNL regular Jason Sudeikis, in this new sketch from April 11’s Saturday Night Live! Before attempting to eat Zac’s toes, Jason sprays them with Pledge (the household cleaning product), tickles them with a troll doll eraser trip and drizzles them with baby oil.

  6. Zac was great in all the skits even though some of them were kind of weird. I don’t like that “***** please blogger” segment. NOT funny at all.

  10. Is he wearing a wig or is this his new haircut?

  11. I feel like Efron wasn’t the problem. He was a pro in every skit he did—as the German exchange student tattling on Gilly and Kathy Lee Gifford’s singing son, Cody. The writers just didn’t put him in any amazing skits. I think they missed some great opportunities.

  12. He was much better than I thought he would be. I hate to say this but there is some promise beyond being a pretty boy.

  13. He did very well. Some of the skits were so so but he pulled it all off nicely. This one in particular was hilarious.

  14. I thought he did great too, considering the material he was given!! He made it work, and his facial expressions were priceless, especially in the pizza rolls commercial. I knew he’d do well, but he definitely exceeded my expectations!!

  15. ahahah coooL!! But Has Zac cut his hair?! O_o

  16. eww that’s gross! I’d never do this! and even if it’s my bf so don’t even ask me about Zac XD

  17. I thought Zac was great. He was up for anything and was good trooper. I like the Pizza Roll skit and the bar skit with him and Andy Samberg.

The problem was the writers. The writing on SNL has been weak for a number of years(like ten). Even with Alec Baldwin and Justin Timberlake, the material have not matched their ability. Watch the repeat of the show with Tracy Morgan as host, there’s no one laugh or giggle anywhere in that show.

  24. thought he did pretty well considering it’s his first time. This segment and the pizza roll was hilarious, “I am your mother!” LOL. And the rest was a major bucket full of suck! I just can’t wait for JT’s appearance, I’m sure it’s going to funny.

  25. I tried to post a link on the Vanessa thread of an article/interview from the Chicago SunTimes that is really sweet. You have to cut and paste but if anyone can post that with a regular link that would be great. I just can’t seem to get it right today! LOL

  27. How many times can you make the same lame old sexual innuendo and think it’s funny? grow up!

  29. Zac Efron did a very good job last night. Loved the Pizza Rolls sketch.

  30. I thought the show was outstanding. I liked The Pizza Rolls, Kathie Lee and Hoda, and The Eliot Spitzer commercial. I think Casey Wilson is very talented, but the writers don't use her enough. I liked her Train-Runnig skit. Michaela Watkins is doing simply outstanding, Angie Tempura was hilarious. I hope they can keep it up. Excited for the Best of Amy Poehler next week, also.

  31. liked the show but changed the channel during the Gilly skit. Zac was an okay host; the cast pulled him thru the show. The train skit was weird and too long. The HSM4 skit has surprisingly funny.

  32. Unfortunately, the best part of tonight's episode was the card before they cut to commercial that said Justin Timberlake will be performing in less than a month, at least giving us something to look forward to. Too many throwaway sketches (that all seemed oddly short?), and not enough new material.

  33. Zac was pretty good, but most skits fell flat. Even the ones that had so much potential. I LOVE Seth Meyers...but sometimes I wonder if he is really a good writer.

I still say SNL would be far impoved if they cut it to 1hr. Less to write. Quality could improve.

  34. gotta say that this was probably one of the better episodes of SNL since the election. Most of the skits were amusing. The past couple months, many of the skits have been kind of lame, but last night was a big step up. But I wouldn't really say the good quality of last night's show was due to Zac Efron. Don't get me wrong though, he was still a good host. He was charming and enjoyable to watch, but the star of last night's show was the writing. Whereas the writing lately had been tired and repetitive, last night show was well-written, funny, and smart. Best skits were HSM, the Today Show, the movie-review blogger on Weekend Update, the pizza rolls commercial, and the foot-rubbing skit. Didn't care much for Gilly; I usually love everything Kristin Wiig does, but I've never really been a fan of that character.
My favorite line of the night:
"Disney characters aren't supposed to grow up. Just ask Mickey Mouse or Lindsay Lohan."
    LMAO! What a great line!

  35. Gilly is awful, but I dig K. Wiig. The Kathie Lee-Hoda skits are always worth watching. Zac was a much better host than I expected. Karen-O has a good voice, but it's time to drop the clown make-up and hair. Jason S. was the MVP of the night. Unfrozen Walt was hilarious. Show overall was much better than I expected going in. Can't wait until the Timberlake show.

  36. I love Gilly. Kristen Wiig is hilarious, she brings a lot to the show. It wasn't the best show but it had some good laughs. I enjoyed also " I am your mother!!!"( Armisen was great)
Efron did a decent job for a first time host.

  37. I'm always up for Disney humor. And they sure are getting the Mickey kicked out of them lately with a certain animated show on a certain comedy network. Still, the HSM skit lagged on a little too long. But, Darryl Hammond certainly provded something completely different.
How does he kill all that extra time?
I'm still on the fence over Angie Tempura. Her voice makes me squrim, but her name reminds me of Asian cuisine. I liked her Zac "What the Ef is Ron..g?" joke, though.
    Bill Hader remains underutilized.
Last week's maximized airtime was a rarity.
Zac Efron played along fine, but he doesn't really have a middle ground between a goofy buffoon and a serious nitpicker.
I liked him as Kathylee's effeminate son, Cody. Anyone curious to see him alongside Andy Samberg's "Kathy"?
Ah well, I guess that's Justin Timberlake territory. May 9th?? Enjoy the reruns...
